Xiaomi’s most awaited notebook is finally official. The company announced the Mi Notebook Air in China on the 27th of July, running Windows 10. It is available in two sizes – 13.3 inch and 12.5 inch display. Both of these have 1080p (1920×1080 pixels) displays and back-lit keyboards. The device is charged using a USB Type – C port, and will be available in gold and sliver. It is priced at 4999 yuan, which is nearly Rs.50000 in India. The 12.5 inch variant has been priced 3499 yuan (approx. Rs.35000).
The 13.3 inch notebook is 14.8 mm thick and weighs 1.28 kg, while the 12.5 inch model is 12.9 mm thick and weighs 1.07 kg. The 13.3 Mi Note book Air is powered by an Intel i5-6200u sixth generation processor, and has a Nvidia GeForce 940MX GPU (with 1 GB GDDR5 memory). The device has 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, 256 GB SSD storage and one free SATA slot for expansion of storage.
Xiaomi claims that the battery on the 12.5-inch variant is good enough to last up to 11.5 hours with a single charge, while the battery on the 13.3-inch variant can last upto 9.5 hours.
The 12.5 inch variant of the Mi Notebook Air runs on Intel Core M3 Processor and has a 128 GB SSD along with 4 GB of RAM.
