We all know the former Nokia 808 PureView had a 41 megapixel camera, but what’s new? A Windows Phone with a 41 Megapixel camera, yes the Nokia Lumia 1020. The Nokia Lumia 1020 features a 41 Megapixel camera which lets you click stunning photos and with Optical Image Stabilization you could shoot videos at almost any moving condition.

Camera Applications

The Nokia Lumia 1020 comes loaded with Nokia camera applications like Nokia Pro Cam, Nokia Smart Cam and many others. These apps allow you to shoot action images with the best clarity.

The Pro Cam app gives complete control over the entire imaging process and it could help you unlock all your creative potential. The Pro Cam has the following digital sliders and visual indicator to give you complete over the camera settings:

  • Shutter speed (1/16000 to 4 seconds)
  • EV value
  • ISO (100 to 4,000)
  • White balance
  • Manual focus

Phone features

Coming back to the internal specifications of the phone, there is nothing much to explain on the 41 megapixel camera as you all know what it is capable off. It has got a 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon™ S4 processor and 2 GB of RAM. It has got 32GB of internal memory and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.  The rest of the hardware specification are almost similar to the Lumia 925 and Lumia 928. So there is nothing much to say about it.

The operating system(OS) as we all know is Windows Phone 8, but if you get it with the Lumia Amber update then the version would be Windows Phone 8.0. The additional .0 in the OS version by my guess is probably due to the rumored Windows Phone 8.1 also called as Blue. As the rumors are that Windows Phone 8.1 will be released by early 2014.

Conclusion

Well if you are photographer and like Windows Phone then this phone is the best you can get right now in the market. The 41 megapixel camera and professional built apps will surely allow you to click high quality images where ever you go.
