Recently in Microsoft’s BUILD conference, Microsoft announced Windows Phone 8.1 and later on Nokia announced three Nokia Lumia smartphones running on WP 8.1. One of them is Nokia Lumia 630.
With the display size being 4.5 inches, it has 1.2 GHz snapdragon 400 quad-core processor. Its RAM capacity is 512MB. It has an internal storage of 8GB. With Windows Phone 8.1, you can personalize it more by selecting a background image for your start screen.
The Lumia 630 comes preinstalled with many apps to get you started, and thousands more available on Windows Phone Store. And with expandable storage up to 128GB, there’s plenty of room to store your favourite apps, music and more. It comes in two variants, the one being a dual SIM and other just the normal single SIM phone.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth, WiFi, etc. it supports both 2G and 3G. Its battery is a Li-Ion 1830 mAh battery. With Windows Phone 8.1, you have got Cortana, your personal voice assistant and Action Center, a notification center and a whole lot more.
On comparing Lumia 630 with Lumia 720 one can find that the Lumia 630 has better screen display, better processor and better storage expansion. But the camera is just 5MP and doesn’t have the Carl Zeiss Optics like the Lumia 720.
Features of Lumia 630 is not pretty special but since it is a Windows Phone 8.1, you will have a lot to make life easy. And since Microsoft reduced the requirements for hardware buttons for Windows Phone 8.1, Nokia has dropped the dedicated camera button which comes on its other Lumia devices which is a shame. The biggest disadvantage of this phone is that it doesn’t have front camera.
