Xiaomi Mi TV 4 claims to be the world’s thinnest LED TV with a thickness of 4.9mm. The concept of the Xiaomi Mi TV 4 was released in the CES 2017 and went on sale in China on June last year. This is the most awaited Television, due to its price to performance ratio compared to other companies. The price of this Xiaomi product will be RS 39,999. The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 will be on sale on 22 of February and will be exclusive on Flipkart.

The Xiaomi product launched in India is is 55 inch LED display panel with 4K (3840×2160 pixels) resolution and HDR support. As it is a Smart TV it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 SoC clocked up to 1.8GHz, coupled with Mali-T830 graphics. It bears 2GB of RAM and features 8GB of storage. It is also touting the presence of Dolby+DTS Cinema Audio Quality on the Mi TV 4.
Connectivity options on the Xiaomi Mi TV 4 55-inch model include three HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB (one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0) ports, an Ethernet port, an S/PDIF port, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 4.0.
The 11-button Mi Remote that’s bundled with the TV can be used to control a set-top box apart from the television itself, using the Mi IR cable priced at Rs. 299. It also offers voice control features. Over 500,000 hours of content will be available, of which 80 percent will be free content. Without the Google Play support Mi TV 4 won’t allow you to install Netflix or Amazon Prime videos but that could change in near future. Most of the app’s are in Chinese which can be changed, but still few things will remain in Chinese which is tolerable and can be fixed by the company in next updates.
